1. 99.9% snap resistant. The first advantage of the Bodylastics system addresses the number one concern of exercise band customers: snapping. In 2011, Bodylastics International Inc. began shipping all Bodylastics bands with D.G.S. technology. What is D.G.S. technology? In laymans terms it is a super strong "brake system" that will prevent you from overstretching your bands. It is the act of overstretching exercise bands that can cause damage and eventually lead to snapping.
This Patented design incorporates a super strong braided line that lives inside every band. The line is 4 times the length of the elastic and will stop short, when it is fully elongated up to a minimum of 150 lbs of tensile strength. So, as you add more elastics to create more resistance you actually increase the amount of D.G.S. Stopping power.
Wow, where do we start? Firstly, Bodylastics does not cut corners with any aspect of our exercise bands systems. We were the FIRST to launch a system of this type in 1998 after designing and redesigning prototypes for over two years. We have sold hundreds of thousands of systems since 1998 and have improved them every single year.
Bodylastics is genuine and IS THE ORIGINAL. No knock off here. All of the other systems on the market are copy cats of our system. They charge less because they can. They use cheaper materials and give you less latex and therefore resistance. Hence, their systems cost a whole lot less to manufacture but ultimately YOU are getting less for your money as a consumer.

3. More effective. This is in regards to the Bodylastics Quick Clip System. Many exercise band systems on the market bundle multiple exercise bands with handles permanently attached. The disadvantage with this type of system is that you will not be able to easily add or subtract resistance to challenge each muscle group to the max. A system with clips (Like Bodylastics) enables the user to increase or decrease the resistance per exercise, similar to adding plates to a barbell.
4. The Best Workouts. In November of 2009, we turned the exercise equipment industry on it's ear. We began streaming FREE "live" and On Demand workouts almost every day at our sister site, liveexercise.com.
In years past our customers had limited options in regards to Bodylastics workouts. Although we had a Circuit Training DVD and StrengthBandUniversity.com (instructional videos) we knew that our customers wanted and needed more. So, we built a studio in Boca Raton, Florida and fired up the video camera and servers.
The workout shows on this site are "live". What's so great about a "live" show? You'll have to experience it for yourself, but there is a personal element that could never be recreated on any DVD. Our instructors are able to interact with the workout partners (viewers) like never before. Folks just like you have seen unbelieveable results and have experienced unprecedented body changing sucess. The goal was to build a workout community that would feel like family.
